The 5th feature length film from Kirkpatrick & Kinslow features characters from prolific writer Jim Stovall. Imbued with the presence of the ubiquitous Will Rogers, Executive Producers Russ Kirkpatrick & Andy Kinslow are collaborating with Mr. Stovall, and the Will Rogers family on the project as they bring the story to life. While the new Will To Win book is enjoying widespread success, Kirkpatrick & Kinslow is now in development & funding for the feature film.
Synopsis:
Sky Forest is a softball player at Will Rogers High School who is being raised by her traditional Cherokee grandmother. When the softball team is cut due to school budget shortfalls, Sky’s teammates give up on ever playing again, but she joins the boys’ baseball team and becomes a pitcher.
Sky deals with the conflicts of being a girl on a boys’ team as well as being a 21st century teenager being raised by her grandmother who is steeped in the old ways.
No less than Will Rogers, himself, appears to Sky at critical times becoming the bridge between the Native American culture and the modern world while giving Sky confidence, humor, and the will to win.

The newest feature length film from Kirkpatrick & Kinslow, is available now on STARZ & VOD platforms in the United States, and Canada. The film has been selected to screen later this year at the QUEERSICHT Film Festival 2021 in Switzerland, The Fabulous Independent Film Festival in Sarasota, and the Twisted Arts Fest in Tulsa. The feature doc. will also soon be available on streaming platforms to audiences in the United Kingdom.

Unlikely Family follows a group of misfits in Tulsa, Okla., as they start a Catholic Church that defies norms in the USA, and their mid-American city.

“That Time In My Life” Short Fiction Film
In a first of its kind, Kirkpatrick & Kinslow worked with Director Nicholas Szabo to create a fiction film for a nonprofit organization supporting previously incarcerated women.
