‘Will to Win’ joining the ranks of ‘Twisters,’ ‘Reagan’
Scheduled to film in and around Tulsa, Will to Win (dir. Sean McNamara, produced by Kirkpatrick & Kinslow) is set to join the ranks of previous made-in-Oklahoma movies that have found box office success in 2024.
In July of 2024, Twisters spun its way into theaters and instantly became the movie of the summer. Starring Glen Powell and Daisy Edgar-Jones, the tornado action/thriller was filmed in Oklahoma in the summer of 2023, and makes subtle nods to Twister (1996), which was also filmed in Oklahoma.
Most recently, Reagan released in theaters nationwide, finishing at No. 4 at the domestic box office over Labor Day weekend. Also directed by McNamara, Reagan tells the story of the 40th U.S. President, portrayed by Dennis Quaid.
Producers Russ Kirkpatrick and Andy Kinslow are eager for Will to Win to take its place among the many incredible films that were made in Oklahoma, and have been viewed by audiences all over the world!
